Greetings from the Foundations Zambia team in Mkushi!
We are really looking forward to gathering as the Foundations for Farming family again this year for our Inspire Zambia conference. Last year was a wonderful time of fellowship and teaching on regeneration of our soils and spirits. This year God has led us to continue this journey to look at the theme of Freedom; free to serve and free to farm. We are honoured to have Craig Deall, FfF International CEO, join us to share his own journey and learning of serving Jesus and the poor through FfF. Craig overseas the FfF Stewardship Centres around the world so he will also share how our God is using FfF in different contexts for His glory, which we hope will encourage each one of us in what ever he has called us to do.
In Zambia the major story of farming this year has been fertiliser and how fragile our farming businesses are if we are reliant on receiving chemical fertiliser from others. Farming doesn’t have to be like this and we believe God intends for His faithful stewards to be free to produce food what ever is happening in the world around us. So at the conference we will be sharing our latest learnings on Regenerative Agriculture and inviting others to share their own learnings from where they are farming. As it says in Proverbs 27:17 ‘As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.’
We also love it when new people come to Inspire Zambia looking to learn about the heart of FfF. This year to help those people leave with a deeper practical understanding of FfF we have introduced two Foundational practicals on how to do a Well Watered Garden and make compost, while those experienced in FfF will have the opportunity to develop their Regenerative Agriculture knowledge in separate sessions. So please consider inviting a friend along with you to Inspire Zambia and come expectant for God to refresh and speak to you both.
Please hurry and book by 8th April so we can be ready to serve you well when you come!
